HISTORY:
Rob was formed in early 1973 when his parents decided to get together
and form Rob. He went through a major line-up change in 1978
when he became Alan Border for 6 months, but this was to prove
unpopular with the fans, and he reverted to his original line-up of: Rob.
ORIGIN OF SURNAME:
The"Child" surname is believed to have originated in Italy in
the 15th Century,
where the name possibly meant "He who manufactures small green T-shirts."
That's my best guess anyway.
HOBBIES:
Soccer, cricket, rubbing baby shit all over the walls of public bus shelters
MUSICAL HISTORY:
Learnt to play bass at age 8. Completely forgot how to play bass at age
10.
Re-learnt bass at 15. Picked up first piano aged 16. Played 34th merimba
accordion at 18.
First played "Stairway" aged 21.
